Flowers and oil lamps on our family altar on the occasion of my elder son Nelson's 48th birthday.

Swung by the Christmas bazaar and bought two Vigan empanadas for supper. Discovered that, aside from the P60-empanada, there is an P80-peso empanada with more sausage inside it. Went for the latter. Brought the empanadas home rather than eat one at a table among holiday carousers.
