It would be fabulous to hear the Balangiga bells for Christmas Masses, BUT, after that, they should be moved to a church museum for proper conservation. Otherwise, what with all those typhoons, they will accumulate verdigris and have to be cleaned frequently.

Perhaps bronze facsimiles of the originals could be made, and those should be hung in the belfries instead.
