Set aside The Haunted Hotel by Wilkie Collins to snuggle up in bed with later. Fortunately I can't remember the plot and the ending. I do like Wilkie Collins, whose novel The Moonstone I read and loved many years ago. It made me value my moonstone pendant, a gift from my sister Sylvia in Australia, so much.
