Walked to the Sitio Catacutan Market to buy plastic buckets; a projected water interruption has been scheduled to occur in our barangay 10:00 PM tonight through 6:00 AM tomorrow morning. Thought of buying the really big water barrels, bigger than the one in M.'s cafe, but decided that neither one of my granddaughters would be able to lift them in cases of emergency.

Bought two teal-colored, medium-sized buckets for the ground-floor bathroom and toilet and two maroon-colored, medium-sized buckets for the kitchen. This is the advantage of being house admin; you can color code everything and even choose interesting designs. These have steel handles and air-tight covers that double up as wash basins. More inportantly, I washed all of them thoroughly, inside out and down to their bottoms, with detergent. I love doing things right.
