There are times when pets and children--sometimes even friends--will insist on going within your line of vision to show you that they are hurt, like a victim who has been stabbed and staggers in front of the first person they see to show that he is in need of help. The body language states, "Please, help me!"

When that happens, they are not melodramatizing. Know exactly where they hurt, why they hurt, and what they need. You are being called upon by the gods and the goddesses to be a good parent. Or relative. Or friend.
