Seventh day of the Chinese New Year celebrations, known as renri, during which seven-vegetable soup is served. For many, the seventh day (instead of the fifteenth day) is the last day of the new year celebrations.
Renri celebrates the creation of humans. According to myth, they were fashioned out of yellow clay.
