I don't attend nude sessions because I have yet to see an interesting nude model worth painting. In the Philippines, nude models are typically persons with nice bodies who are willing to pose in the buff because they need the money. As such, when they are posing, they are just being there without clothes on. No sophistication glows from their inner spirit and shines through their flesh, so that they are unable to transcend their nakedness.

I have always found it more satisfying to ask close friends to pose for me in the nude whenever I have to paint nudes.
