Watched The Talented Mr. Ripley for the first time on HBO. It reminded me that, years ago, three different persons told me that the character of Jude Law in that movie reminded them of me. Since I hadn't watched the movie I didn't know whether that was a compliment or a non-compliment, and I shrugged it off. Tonight, after having watched the movie, I actually still don't know--what I do know is that I also have a collection of rings.

The movie was quite interesting, albeit filmed at a time (1999) when cell phones, CCTV cameras, and DNA analysis were as yet unpopular.
